Powertrain Manufacturing Test Engineer

About this role

Harbinger, an electric vehicle manufacturer, seeks a Manufacturing Test Engineer to develop and manage in-line and end-of-line testing systems for electric drive units and components. You'll handle test specification, data analysis, continuous improvement, and lead the sourcing and implementation of high-volume automated test equipment in a production environment.

What you'll do

• Define test specifications, parameters, and acceptance criteria for functional and quality compliance
• Analyze test data, diagnose failures, and implement root cause analysis and corrective actions
• Drive continuous process improvement through data-driven analysis and collaboration with manufacturing and quality teams
• Train production and maintenance teams on test equipment operation and troubleshooting
• Lead end-to-end sourcing and implementation of electric drive unit EOL test rigs, including vendor evaluation and selection
• Oversee vendor management through design, build, FAT/SAT, and on-site commissioning to ensure successful production launch
