Software Integration Engineer, ADAS

About this role

Harbinger, an innovative commercial EV company, seeks a Software Integration Engineer to lead ADAS firmware development and integration. You'll manage software components, optimize system performance through profiling, and collaborate with external partners to deliver robust autonomous driving capabilities.

What you'll do

• Oversee ADAS firmware components and interfaces, ensuring software integrity and quality
• Conduct CPU and memory profiling to optimize embedded system performance
• Lead end-to-end integration projects with external firmware partners (HL Clemonts/HL Mando)
• Integrate and validate ADAS software across ECUs, sensors, and vehicle platforms using CAN, Ethernet, and other protocols
• Develop test automation frameworks and analyze logs/traces for system-level debugging
• Support SIL/HIL testing, vehicle integration, and software release management

• Firmware development and microcontroller programming
• C/C++ and Python proficiency
• Embedded Linux development and debugging
• CAN, CAN FD, Automotive Ethernet, SOME/IP, UDP/TCP networking
• Debugging tools (Wireshark, CANoe, GDB, tcpdump)
• Performance profiling and system-level optimization
• CI/CD pipelines and Git
• Automotive diagnostics (UDS, DTCs, XCP)
