About this role
Harbinger seeks a Supplier Quality Engineer (Fasteners) to develop and implement quality standards, conduct supplier audits, and lead continuous improvement initiatives for an innovative commercial EV company. This role works cross-functionally to ensure supplier materials meet specifications through APQP, PPAP, and corrective action processes.
What you'll do
- Develop supplier quality standards, portals, and processes aligned with company QMS
- Conduct supplier audits, assessments, and evaluations to verify quality system compliance
- Lead APQP and PPAP activities; perform Gauge R&R and safe launch testing
- Investigate quality issues and collaborate with suppliers on root cause analysis and corrective actions
- Monitor supplier performance metrics including defect rates, delivery times, and regulatory compliance
- Lead weekly supplier coordination calls and MRB meetings; support engineering change control board
