Systems Engineer, ADAS

About this role

Harbinger, an innovative commercial EV company, seeks an experienced Systems Engineer to design and own ADAS feature architecture for their electric delivery trucks. You'll lead the full engineering lifecycle from defining customer use cases and sensor systems through functional safety compliance and vehicle validation.

What you'll do

• Define high-level requirements and use cases for ADAS features including AEB, ACC, virtual Bumper, and backup camera
• Develop logical and physical system architectures showing sensor, controller, and physical system interactions
• Lead ISO 26262 Functional Safety analysis and documentation at concept and system levels
• Decompose vehicle-level requirements into system, component, and interface specifications using Flow Engineering
• Create Design Verification Plans (DVP&R) and oversee SIL/HIL testing and proving ground validation
• Analyze test data to calibrate sensitivity thresholds and balance safety performance with false positive reduction
