Legal Engineer

About this role

Harvey seeks a Legal Engineer in Milan to bridge sales and legal expertise by helping law firms and in-house teams understand how Harvey's AI solutions improve their daily workflows. You'll combine your top-tier law firm experience with consultative selling to become a trusted advisor on AI-driven legal practice transformation.

What you'll do

• Conduct customer discovery and deliver tailored product demonstrations to lawyers across different practice areas
• Partner with Account Executives to educate prospects on Harvey's value through group sessions and one-on-one conversations
• Establish credibility by addressing specific workflow challenges in legal research, drafting, due diligence, and document analysis
• Collaborate with marketing to develop practice-area-specific content that resonates with legal professionals
• Serve as voice of customer, synthesizing legal feedback for product and sales teams
• Conduct competitive and customer research; travel to client locations as needed

• Legal practice experience (3+ years at top-tier firm in Italy)
• Executive presence and relationship-building with senior decision-makers
• Fluent Italian language proficiency
• Outstanding presentation and communication skills
• Deep understanding of legal workflows and practitioner challenges
• AI literacy and curiosity about legal tech transformation
• Sales or business development experience
• Client relationship and matter management expertise
