Legal Engineer (Law Firm, Corporate)

About this role

Harvey seeks a Legal Engineer with transactional corporate law experience to bridge customers, product, and sales for an AI-powered legal services platform. You'll work directly with corporate lawyers to uncover workflow challenges, demonstrate solutions, and shape product direction based on real legal work insights.

What you'll do

• Conduct discovery with corporate lawyers at prospective and current customers to identify pain points and demonstrate Harvey's value
• Translate customer feedback and legal workflows into actionable product direction for engineering and product teams
• Build and refine product demonstrations and use cases tailored to corporate legal practice areas
• Partner with product, sales, and marketing teams to shape Harvey's roadmap and ensure adoption
• Serve as trusted advisor and voice of the customer, establishing credibility with legal professionals at all levels
• Continuously improve how Harvey's AI capabilities are deployed across corporate legal practices

• Transactional law expertise (M&A, private equity, capital markets, finance, fund formation, banking, real estate, or EC/VC)
• Deep understanding of corporate legal workflows and challenges
• Strong executive presence and relationship-building abilities
• Excellent communication and presentation skills

• Solutions-oriented, action-biased problem-solving mindset
• Client-facing or business development experience
• Ability to operate effectively with ambiguity and move at speed
