Legal Engineer (Law Firm, Litigation/Regulatory)

About this role

Harvey seeks a former litigation or regulatory attorney to serve as a Legal Engineer, bridging customers and product teams to demonstrate how AI solutions transform legal workflows. You'll combine your practice experience with go-to-market strategy to shape product development and drive adoption among legal professionals.

What you'll do

• Conduct discovery with litigation and regulatory lawyers to identify workflow pain points and recommend Harvey solutions
• Translate customer feedback and legal insights into product direction for the litigation and regulatory practice areas
• Partner with product, engineering, sales, and marketing teams to shape roadmap and ensure lawyer adoption
• Build tailored product demonstrations and use cases that reflect real litigation and regulatory workflows
• Present Harvey capabilities in credible, compelling ways to each customer segment

What they're looking for

• Litigation or regulatory practice experience (3+ years)
• Deep understanding of litigator and regulatory lawyer workflows
• Executive presence and relationship building with legal professionals
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills
• Curiosity about AI applications in legal services
• Solutions-oriented, practical mindset
• Ability to operate with speed and manage ambiguity
• Client-facing or business development background (preferred)
