Legal Engineer (Law Firm, Litigation/Regulatory)

About this role

Harvey seeks a Legal Engineer with litigation or regulatory practice experience to serve as a bridge between customers, sales, and product teams. You'll lead customer discovery, demonstrate AI-powered legal solutions tailored to litigators and regulatory professionals, and translate legal workflows into product direction that shapes Harvey's roadmap.

What you'll do

• Conduct discovery with litigation and regulatory lawyers to identify workflow pain points and recommend Harvey solutions
• Translate customer feedback and legal insights into actionable product direction for the engineering team
• Partner with product, sales, and marketing to develop tailored demonstrations and use cases for litigation and regulatory practices
• Serve as the voice of the customer in cross-functional discussions to ensure product evolution aligns with legal workflows
• Lead product demonstrations and workshops that establish credibility and demonstrate value to prospective and current customers
• Build and refine workflows that showcase how AI transforms litigation and regulatory work

What they're looking for

• Litigation or regulatory law practice experience (minimum 3 years)
• Understanding of legal workflows, challenges, and demands in dispute resolution and regulatory work
• Executive presence and relationship-building with legal professionals
• Outstanding communication and presentation abilities
• Curiosity about AI and its applications in legal services
• Solutions-oriented and action-biased problem-solving
• Experience in client-facing roles or business development (preferred)
• Ability to operate with ambiguity and move at speed
