About this role
Wizards of the Coast seeks a Packaging Engineer to design and develop innovative packaging solutions for iconic gaming products. You'll create prototypes, manage supplier relationships, and drive continuous improvement across product development while balancing cost, quality, and sustainability.
What you'll do
- Design and prototype packaging using CAD models and physical samples for new product launches
- Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to develop solutions meeting product, cost, and sustainability goals
- Develop, validate, and document die lines and technical specifications for manufacturing
- Lead presentations and concept reviews with internal and external stakeholders
- Support testing standards and quality specifications with Product and Quality Engineers
- Drive process improvements and contribute to team documentation and skill-sharing

- 3D CAD software (ArtiosCAD, Cape Pack, SolidWorks)
- 2D design tools (Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop)
- Materials knowledge (paperboard, corrugate, films, thermoplastics)
- Technical drawing and specification development
- Multi-project management and stakeholder communication
- Packaging testing and palletization standards
- Problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration
- Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams)
