C++ Software Engineer

About this role

Hawk-Eye Innovations seeks a mid-level C++ engineer to develop core systems powering global sports technology platforms. You'll collaborate on broadcast augmentation, video cloud, and infrastructure tooling while working in a hybrid Budapest role with competitive compensation.

What you'll do

• Design and implement core C++ components for systems and tooling platforms across video, cloud, and broadcast products
• Develop multithreaded, high-performance applications for live encoding, hardware interfacing, and network protocols
• Conduct code reviews and maintain high code quality standards through testing and collaborative engineering practices
• Participate in field testing and support live deployments at sporting events
• Engage in technical and architectural discussions to grow design expertise
• Work on diverse challenges including audio/video processing, hardware integration, and UI development
