About this role

Join Hawk-Eye Innovations' QA team in Budapest as a Full Stack SDET to design and maintain comprehensive automation frameworks across frontend, backend, API, and cloud systems. This hybrid role focuses on building scalable testing solutions, integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines, and collaborating with engineers to deliver high-quality software for video processing and sports broadcast products.

What you'll do

  • Build and maintain scalable automation frameworks for UI, backend, API, and data-driven testing using Playwright or Cypress
  • Design and implement automated tests for APIs, backend services, and cloud applications on AWS
  • Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous delivery
  • Establish testing patterns, best practices, and quality-focused engineering strategies across teams
  • Perform exploratory testing and manual validation for complex defects and edge cases
  • Mentor team members through code reviews and knowledge sharing on testing best practices
