About this role

Heart Aerospace is hiring Software Engineers to develop flight software for the ES-30, a 30-passenger hybrid-electric regional aircraft. You'll build safety-critical embedded systems, implement aircraft control functions, and establish the technological foundation for the aircraft's software platform.

What you'll do

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain embedded software for safety-critical aircraft systems
  • Write reliable code for microcontrollers, bare-metal systems, RTOS, and embedded operating systems
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with systems, hardware, flight sciences, and quality teams
  • Contribute to verification and validation including unit, integration, and system-level testing
  • Support simulation, modeling, and test infrastructure development
  • Document designs, requirements, and test results

Benefits

  • Base pay: $119,000–$149,000 (Engineer I) or $137,000–$171,000 (Engineer II)
