Software Engineer

Join Heidi, an AI healthcare platform, to build software systems that integrate with clinical workflows and EHRs. You'll develop AI-assisted tools that help clinicians manage complex healthcare requirements while maintaining trust, quality, and operational efficiency across US health systems.

What you'll do

• Integrate Heidi's AI capabilities into EHR systems and clinical workflows as native features
• Build systems that handle healthcare billing rules, compliance, and payer constraints behind the scenes
• Develop agentic workflow functionality with human review, auditability, and clear controls
• Write clean, testable code with strong error handling and observability for clinical reliability
• Collaborate closely with team through pairing and shared ownership of design and implementation
• Learn healthcare domain requirements and translate them into product improvements

• Full-stack software engineering (3-5 years experience)
• User-facing product development
• Sound engineering judgment and code quality practices
• AI coding tools and modern development workflows
• Agentic frameworks and orchestration
• Event-driven architectures
