About this role

Helion is seeking a Build Engineer to contribute to the construction of first-of-a-kind fusion generator assemblies. This role focuses on owning the manufacturing, assembly, and deployment of subsystems, collaborating with design and production teams to ensure efficient build processes. Located in Everett, WA, you'll play a vital role in advancing Helion's mission to deliver clean, reliable, and affordable energy.

What you'll do

  • Own build and assembly definition and execution for generator subsystems
  • Author work instructions for technician teams
  • Design and manufacture tooling for assembly and installation
  • Collaborate with production, integration, and engineering teams
  • Drive configuration management and hardware quality
  • Improve low-volume build processes (under 1000 parts)
