Software Engineer - Mission Systems

About this role

Hermeus seeks a Software Engineer to develop C++ software for the Mission Management System, a critical platform that integrates mission subsystems, autonomy, and operator interfaces for high-speed defense aircraft. You'll design and implement features that enable rapid capability integration while working on systems supporting national defense.

What you'll do

• Design and implement C++ software for the Mission Management System platform
• Develop interfaces between mission subsystems, autonomy solutions, and external services
• Extend the platform to rapidly incorporate new capabilities from internal and third-party teams
• Test and validate software components for mission-critical systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on system integration and deployment
• Support iterative prototyping and hardware integration processes
