Tooling Engineer

About this role

Hermeus seeks a Tooling Engineer to design and develop specialized manufacturing tools, jigs, and fixtures for high-speed aircraft structural assemblies. You'll support rapid prototyping efforts for cutting-edge defense aviation systems through hands-on tool development and analysis.

What you'll do

• Design and analyze drill tools, jigs, and integration fixtures for structural assemblies
• Fabricate and validate tooling and ground support equipment
• Support major structural assembly manufacturing processes
• Iterate on tooling solutions to enhance production efficiency
• Collaborate with structural engineering team on tool specifications
• Ensure tooling meets performance and quality standards
