Forward Deployment Engineer

About this role

Hippocratic AI seeks a Forward Deployment Engineer to embed with healthcare customers, translating clinical needs into production AI systems. You'll architect and deploy conversational AI solutions, own customer relationships, and directly influence product strategy through field insights.

What you'll do

• Architect AI solutions for complex clinical problems, from initial requirements to production specifications
• Build and deploy RAG pipelines, multi-agent systems, and real-time conversational AI integrated with live healthcare workflows
• Ensure compatibility with healthcare data standards including EHR systems, FHIR, and HL7
• Monitor system performance post-deployment and drive iterative improvements
• Travel to customer sites and serve as primary technical liaison throughout deployment lifecycle
• Partner with product, research, and clinical teams to surface insights and inform platform evolution

• Python and full-stack software engineering
• Healthcare data integrations and standards (FHIR, HL7, EHR systems)
• Cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• API integration and data pipeline design
• Technical communication across diverse stakeholder groups
• Conversational or voice AI systems (preferred)
• Solutions engineering or customer-facing technical roles (preferred)
