Forward Deployment Engineer (Akron, OH)

About this role

Hippocratic AI seeks a Forward Deployment Engineer to serve as an embedded technical presence at customer sites in Akron, OH. You'll design and deploy healthcare AI systems—including LLM-powered conversational platforms and data integration pipelines—directly into live clinical workflows, owning the full lifecycle from concept to production monitoring.

What you'll do

• Act as primary technical contact for healthcare customers, translating complex problems into scalable AI solutions
• Build and deploy AI systems including RAG pipelines, multi-agent workflows, and real-time conversational interfaces
• Integrate healthcare data systems using HL7 v2, FHIR, REST APIs, and X12 standards
• Develop data pipelines using Python and SQL to connect clinical workflows to AI platforms
• Troubleshoot production issues and monitor system performance end-to-end
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, AI research, and clinical teams
