Forward Deployment Engineer (Sioux Falls, SD)

About this role

Hippocratic AI seeks a Forward Deployment Engineer to embed onsite at healthcare customer locations in Sioux Falls, SD, designing and deploying AI-powered clinical solutions into live workflows. You'll operate at the intersection of LLM systems, healthcare data integration, and real-world clinical operations—acting as both technical builder and consultant.

What you'll do

• Serve as the embedded technical point of contact for healthcare customers, translating ambiguous problems into production AI solutions
• Design and deploy AI systems including RAG pipelines, multi-agent workflows, and real-time conversational interfaces
• Integrate healthcare data using HL7 v2, FHIR, REST APIs, and X12 standards with Python and SQL
• Own full lifecycle from system design through production monitoring and troubleshooting
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, AI research, and clinical teams
• Spend five days weekly onsite at customer location with occasional travel to Palo Alto headquarters
