Forward Deployment Engineer (York, PA)

About this role

Hippocratic AI seeks a Forward Deployment Engineer to serve as the embedded technical presence at customer healthcare sites in York, PA. You'll design and deploy AI-powered clinical solutions into live healthcare workflows, working directly with customers to solve complex problems spanning AI systems, healthcare data integration, and production operations.

What you'll do

• Act as primary technical contact for healthcare customers, translating ambiguous problems into scalable AI solutions
• Build and deploy AI systems including RAG pipelines, multi-agent workflows, and real-time conversational interfaces
• Integrate healthcare data systems using HL7 v2, FHIR, REST APIs, and X12 standards with Python and SQL
• Own full lifecycle of deployments from design through production monitoring and troubleshooting
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, AI research, and clinical teams
• Spend five days per week onsite at customer location with periodic travel to Palo Alto headquarters
