Integration Engineer

About this role

Hippocratic AI seeks an Integration Engineer to build healthcare data integrations connecting EHRs and APIs to our clinical AI platform. You'll design and maintain HL7, FHIR, and REST-based data flows using Python, collaborating with product teams and offshore engineers to deliver scalable solutions.

What you'll do

• Design and build healthcare data integrations using Python, HL7 v2, FHIR, REST APIs, and SQL
• Collaborate with product and delivery teams to translate requirements into scalable integration flows
• Coordinate with offshore teams on implementation, review, and quality assurance
• Monitor and optimize performance of live integrations, resolving bottlenecks
• Develop reusable integration components and templates to improve delivery efficiency
• Troubleshoot production issues and lead root-cause analysis
