C++ Build and Infrastructure Engineer

About this role

Horizon Surgical Systems seeks a C++ Build and Infrastructure Engineer to design and maintain development infrastructure for an AI-driven surgical robotics platform. You'll own end-to-end CI/CD pipelines, server management, and build systems while supporting multiple engineering teams in a fast-paced medical device environment.

What you'll do

• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions on self-hosted runners
• Manage CMake-based build systems for large C/C++ codebases
• Configure and maintain bare-metal servers and on-premise infrastructure using Ansible
• Facilitate software releases in monorepo with branch management and release coordination
• Build reproducible containerized development environments for multiple teams
• Support regulatory compliance through audit trails and QMS-aligned documentation
