Software Engineer - Secure Manufacturing

About this role

Humanoid is seeking a Software Engineer to join the Platform Infrastructure team in San Diego, contributing to cloud control systems, secure manufacturing pipelines, or device security for their humanoid robots. You'll work alongside senior engineers on production-grade infrastructure spanning factory provisioning, fleet management, and secure device enrollment while growing your platform engineering expertise.

What you'll do

• Develop backend services and on-robot software for cloud control, OTA updates, and fleet state management
• Build manufacturing software pipelines including provisioning, calibration, testing, and MES integration
• Implement device identity, cryptographic security, and secure boot infrastructure
• Write and ship production-quality code across cloud (AWS, Terraform, ECS, Postgres) and embedded systems
• Collaborate with firmware, applications, and operations teams across multiple global offices
• Mentor and pair-program with senior engineers while owning real deliverables
