Hydrite Chemical is seeking a Controls Engineer to join their team and maintain their critical control systems. This individual contributor role involves designing, programming, and sustaining PLC/DCS/HMI systems while ensuring adherence to safety protocols and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will be a problem-solver with strong communication skills and experience supporting plant automation and data collection initiatives.
What you'll do
- Design, program, and commission control systems (DeltaV, PLC, HMI).
- Troubleshoot and maintain control systems and instrumentation.
- Execute changes through the Management of Change (MOC) process.
- Maintain and standardize control system documentation.
- Support capital projects and provide technical guidance to operations and maintenance teams.
