Configuration Developer - Analyst

About this role

Configure and maintain business rules within FireLight®, a SaaS platform for financial product applications, ensuring compliance and accuracy. This role spans the full software development lifecycle, from requirements to deployment and production support, while leveraging AI tools to enhance efficiency.

What you'll do

• Configure business rules, Role Codes, Review Queues, and document mappings within FireLight®
• Implement and test configurations to ensure applications meet 'In-Good-Order' standards
• Perform unit and integration testing to validate accuracy of configured business logic
• Provide Tier 2 production support by troubleshooting issues and resolving client tickets via Jira
• Support customer deployments and collaborate with cross-functional teams on defect resolution
• Use AI-enabled tools to accelerate rule creation, testing, and issue investigation

• XML (creation, editing, troubleshooting)
• FireLight® platform configuration
• Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) in SaaS environments
• Jira, Notepad++, OpenAir, and Adobe Acrobat
• Problem-solving and attention to detail
• Financial services domain knowledge (insurance, annuities, compliance)
• Multi-task management in fast-paced environments
• Written and verbal communication
