C++ Engineer - Satellite Real-Time Control Systems

About this role

ICEYE seeks a C++ engineer to develop real-time attitude control software for their SAR satellite constellation in Espoo. You'll ensure satellites maintain precise pointing for high-quality imaging, analyze flight telemetry, and support next-generation satellite designs while working with experienced embedded systems and control algorithm teams.

What you'll do

• Develop and enhance AOCS software features for improved observability and hardware support
• Analyze satellite flight telemetry to identify performance improvements and past events
• Automate satellite operations in coordination with software and hardware teams
• Coordinate with satellite operators to execute in-orbit testing activities
• Design software frameworks for next-generation satellites
• Develop automated telemetry data analytics capabilities
