Electronics Engineer - Avionics

About this role

ICEYE seeks an Electronics Engineer to design and validate high-reliability mixed-signal avionics systems for commercial SAR satellites operating in space. You'll work on board-level hardware from schematic through testing and on-orbit support, collaborating across engineering disciplines in a hybrid role based in Espoo, Finland.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, test, and support high-reliability mixed-signal electronics for satellite systems
• Lead board-level hardware design including schematic capture, PCB layout, bring-up, and validation testing
• Perform laboratory measurements and system-level testing to verify performance and reliability
• Support component selection and system design decisions with focus on quality and manufacturability
• Investigate and resolve issues during development, manufacturing, testing, or on-orbit operation
• Create and maintain technical documentation; collaborate with systems, software, mechanical, and manufacturing teams

• Board-level hardware design and PCB layout
• Analog and digital electronics with mixed-signal design principles
• Laboratory test equipment operation (oscilloscopes, multimeters, spectrum analyzers)
• Root-cause analysis and debugging
• Component selection and reliability assessment
• Cross-functional collaboration
• Technical documentation
• Aerospace or mission-critical systems experience (preferred)
