Electronics Engineer, Radar Payload Team

About this role

ICEYE seeks an Electronics Engineer to design and validate critical electronic subsystems for satellite radar payloads used in Earth observation. You'll develop board-level circuits focusing on power management and RF control while collaborating across teams in a hybrid role based in Espoo.

What you'll do

• Design board-level electronic systems for satellite radar units and RF boards with emphasis on power and control circuits
• Develop microcontroller-based solutions for power management and control functions
• Test and validate electronic designs for functionality, performance, and requirement compliance
• Create documentation including schematics, PCB layouts, and test procedures
• Collaborate with RF, mechanical, and software engineering teams on integrated payload systems
• Support troubleshooting and iteration during development and testing phases

What they're looking for

• Analog electronics design (4+ years experience)
• PCB design tools such as Altium
• Power control circuit design for RF amplifiers and low-noise supplies
• High-speed signal design fundamentals
• Electronic system testing and validation
• Cross-disciplinary collaboration
• EMI and EMC principles (preferred)
• RF systems understanding (preferred)
