Forward Deployed AI Engineer, Portugal

About this role

ICEYE seeks a Forward Deployed AI Engineer to build and deploy AI-powered intelligence workflows on satellite data platforms within secure, customer environments. You'll work embedded with defense and intelligence teams, rapidly shipping production code that fuses SAR imagery with multiple intelligence sources to enable mission-critical analysis.

What you'll do

• Deploy ICEYE's intelligence platform into secure, air-gapped customer environments and manage containerized applications
• Build RAG systems and AI agents combining SAR satellite data with customer intelligence documents for analysis
• Develop data fusion pipelines integrating SAR imagery with AIS, RF signals, optical imagery, and other intelligence sources
• Create APIs and data pipelines connecting ICEYE systems to customer C4ISR infrastructure
• Rapidly prototype AI solutions working embedded with intelligence analysts and military operators
• Conduct training and gather customer feedback to inform product requirements
