Forward Deployed Geospatial Engineer - SAR Intelligence, Portugal

About this role

The Forward Deployed Geospatial Engineer will work in Portugal, focusing on SAR intelligence to help defense and intelligence clients effectively utilize satellite imagery. This role includes operationalizing SAR data, enhancing customer workflows, and providing hands-on support and training.

What you'll do

• Train intelligence analysts in using SAR imagery for missions
• Configure ICEYE ISR Suite for mission-specific outputs
• QA/validate SAR imagery products
• Develop Python geospatial automation for clients
• Deliver training on SAR operations and capabilities
• Gather customer feedback to improve products

• Advanced degree in Remote Sensing or related field
• Understanding of SAR physics
• Proficient in Python for geospatial processing
• Experience analyzing satellite imagery
• Ability to convey technical concepts clearly
