FPGA Engineer

About this role

ICEYE seeks an experienced FPGA Engineer to design and maintain critical FPGA components for their satellite constellation supporting Earth observation and intelligence missions. Based in Valencia with hybrid flexibility, you'll collaborate across hardware and software teams to develop high-performance signal processing systems for space-based SAR technology.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and maintain FPGA components for satellite systems
• Prototype and validate new features and data processing capabilities
• Collaborate with hardware, embedded Linux, and software teams on system architecture
• Support on-orbit testing, system bring-up, and performance optimization
• Interface with high-speed sensors and integrated data converters
• Validate FPGA designs using high-level programming languages

• Digital Signal Processing (DSP)
• FPGA design and development
• Multi-gigabit transceivers
• Multi-clock domain design
• High-speed sensor interfacing
• Python, MATLAB, or C programming
• ELINT/SIGINT concepts (preferred)
• CI/CD pipelines (preferred)
