OBC & Comms AIT engineer

About this role

ICEYE is hiring an AIT Engineer in Espoo to lead assembly, integration, and testing of onboard computer and communications subsystems for spacecraft. This hands-on role combines electronics expertise with mission-critical troubleshooting in a high-cadence manufacturing environment.

What you'll do

• Serve as primary technical contact for OBC and Comms subsystem issues during manufacturing and testing
• Conduct hands-on inspection, verification, and assembly of hardware subsystems
• Lead root cause analysis of defects and implement corrective actions across design and production
• Contribute to design reviews, production planning, and design-for-manufacturability improvements
• Interface with design engineers, production leads, and cross-functional teams to manage integration risks
• Create and maintain technical documentation including test procedures and corrective action records
