R&D Satellite Build Engineer

About this role

ICEYE is seeking an R&D Satellite Build Engineer in Espoo to assemble, integrate, and validate engineering model satellites for the world's largest SAR satellite constellation. You'll drive rapid innovation by executing reliable builds and translating new designs into flight-ready systems while collaborating across engineering teams.

What you'll do

• Execute mechanical and electrical assembly and integration of engineering model satellites
• Perform incoming inspection and verification of components before integration
• Support functional, environmental, and system-level testing activities
• Troubleshoot integration issues and escalate as needed
• Document build, integration, and test results with full traceability
• Collaborate with design, test, and manufacturing teams on new configurations
