Satellite Subsystem Test Automation Engineer

About this role

Join ICEYE's Global Manufacturing Organization as a Satellite Subsystem Test Automation Engineer in Espoo, Finland. You'll develop and maintain Python-based test automation frameworks for satellite production, support AIT engineers and operators with troubleshooting, and ensure reliable testing of flight hardware at scale.

What you'll do

• Develop and maintain Python-based test automation libraries, integrations and utilities for satellite subsystem testing
• Support AIT engineers and production operators by debugging test failures and station issues using systematic troubleshooting
• Design and improve test suites to reduce flakiness, enhance reporting and increase coverage across subsystems
• Automate control of lab instruments and test equipment via SCPI/VISA and similar interfaces
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines to enable automated testing with traceable results
• Write and maintain technical documentation including READMEs, specifications and operator guides
