About this role
Idler is scaling its team to build reinforcement learning environments that train AI models to code at expert levels. You'll develop UI components, backend services, and QA workflows for agentic systems that create realistic coding training scenarios, working directly with the founding team and AI researchers.
What you'll do
- Build UI components and backend services for environment generation and validation
- Implement automated testing and QA workflows
- Analyze real codebases to understand effective training data
- Ship features quickly and iterate based on researcher feedback
- Collaborate with agentic systems to create and quality-assure coding environments
- Contribute to system design discussions around fairness and robustness
