Software Engineer

About this role

impact.com, a leading commerce partnership marketing platform, is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer for their Tracking team in Columbus, OH. You'll design and develop scalable features for major global brands, owning products from conception through production while working with cloud, microservice, and data technologies.

What you'll do

• Design and develop features, modules, and services for core user applications
• Build internal APIs for data and functionality sharing
• Improve deployment processes for company applications and services
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues proactively
• Integrate with external APIs and third-party systems
• Collaborate within an agile team on continuous improvements

What they're looking for

• Java and Spring Framework
• Relational database design and management
• JavaScript and frontend web development
• Cloud platform experience (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Serverless architecture
• Message bus systems (Kafka)
• Claude Code AI
• 4+ years software development experience
