About this role

Indicium AI seeks a Data Engineer Consultant to design and build scalable data pipelines and infrastructure supporting enterprise AI initiatives. You'll manage data integration, warehouse implementation, ELT processes, and cloud infrastructure while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver production-grade data solutions.

What you'll do

• Design and develop ELT pipelines for data ingestion, integration, and quality assurance across diverse sources
• Implement and optimize data warehouses, data lakes, and distributed storage solutions
• Monitor ELT execution, cloud and on-premises infrastructure, and establish SLA compliance metrics
• Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code using tools like Terraform for cloud scalability and security
• Ensure data governance, security policies, and access controls across the data platform
• Research and implement emerging technologies to improve data solution efficiency

What they're looking for

• Programming (Python, Java, Scala, or similar) with 4+ years experience
• Advanced SQL and DBT expertise
• Data processing tools (Spark, Kafka, Presto, Airflow)
• Data warehouse platforms (BigQuery, Redshift, Snowflake, Databricks)
• Cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure) with IaC tools like Terraform
