About this role

Indicium AI seeks a Senior Forward Deployed AI Engineer to architect and deploy production multi-agent AI systems that integrate frontier LLMs (Claude) with enterprise data platforms (Databricks, lakehouses). You'll work embedded with clients to build custom agentic tooling, RAG systems, and evaluation frameworks while managing stakeholder adoption and security requirements.

What you'll do

  • Design and deploy custom MCP servers and agentic tool architectures enabling AI agents to safely query multiple enterprise data sources
  • Build high-performance data pipelines, vector search, and hybrid RAG layers over Databricks/Delta Lake environments
  • Lead on-site requirements discovery and rapidly prototype production PoCs with client technical teams
  • Implement LLM evaluation frameworks, hallucination tracking, and observability pipelines for agent reliability
  • Enforce security controls including ACLs, multi-tenant isolation, and row/column-level permissions with client security teams
  • Translate operational workflows and fragmented data sources into production-grade agentic AI platforms
