Estimation Engineer

About this role

IEM seeks an Estimation Engineer to develop technical quotations and cost analyses for low and medium voltage switchgear projects. You'll support the sales division by preparing detailed proposals, analyzing project requirements, and collaborating across departments to deliver accurate pricing for complex electrical distribution systems.

What you'll do

• Prepare technical quotations for LV and MV switchgear projects with cost analysis
• Develop accurate cost estimates using material, labor, equipment, and tooling data
• Review engineering drawings, specifications, and RFQs to create proposals
• Identify and quantify cost uncertainties and risks
• Collaborate with sales, project management, engineering, and procurement teams
• Update estimates based on scope changes and new project information
