About this role
Innodata seeks an Audio Engineer to manage the technical backbone of voice and audio datasets for speech AI systems. You'll establish and maintain consistent acoustic quality standards across multiple languages and recording environments, designing the signal chain, post-processing pipeline, and quality assurance processes that ensure every dataset meets precise specifications.
What you'll do
- Own end-to-end audio signal chain and post-processing pipeline for all collection programs
- Define and document technical specifications including sample rates, bit depth, LUFS targets, and noise floors
- Design and maintain consistent 'Innodata sound signature' across diverse recording environments
- Build automated and manual QA checks to validate audio quality before delivery
- Specify and validate recording setups for remote vendors and contributors
- Troubleshoot acoustic issues and drive tooling selection and automation
