Release and Integration Engineer

About this role

InnoPhase IoT seeks a Release and Integration Engineer to manage firmware releases for wireless IoT products across multiple components and teams. This contract role (with full-time conversion potential) requires coordinating complex embedded software deployments, automating release processes, and ensuring quality through cross-functional collaboration.

What you'll do

• Plan and deploy multi-component firmware releases including bootloader, OS, and applications using embedded toolchains
• Define versioning strategies, automate promotions, and generate changelogs
• Collaborate with software, ASIC, DevOps, and QA teams to resolve deployment issues
• Review code commits for readiness, stability, and performance alignment with roadmap
• Integrate test results, manage flaky tests, and prevent unsafe promotions
• Document all changes and maintain release workflows from pre-silicon through product launch
