Sales Engineer, Applied AI

About this role

Instabase is seeking a Sales Engineer, Applied AI to serve as a bridge between enterprise customers and their no-code AI automation platform. You'll design and architect intelligent workflow solutions that transform unstructured data into actionable insights, combining technical expertise with strategic sales capabilities.

What you'll do

• Partner with Account Executives to uncover customer pain points and translate them into AI automation designs
• Design and configure Proofs of Concept using drag-and-drop workflow builders and AI tools
• Act as a trusted advisor on applied AI best practices, including prompt engineering and agentic workflows
• Educate customers on AI governance and capabilities without requiring deep technical implementation knowledge
• Provide product feedback to help refine the platform's user interface and AI agent capabilities
• Demonstrate real-time processing of customer data to prove value and drive adoption
