Frontend Robotics Engineer

About this role

Intrinsic, Google's AI robotics group, seeks a Frontend Robotics Engineer to build and customize Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs) that enable customers to deploy industrial robotic systems. This role bridges core technology and customers by developing web applications for robotic control, requiring deep frontend expertise combined with backend fluency and hands-on hardware experience.

What you'll do

• Customize reference HMI solutions for specific customer use cases and add new features with 3D visualizations
• Develop user-friendly web applications enabling non-experts to monitor and control robotic workcells
• Guide customers through frontend development best practices and help them own custom HMI services
• Integrate complex features like real-time 3D visualizations while collaborating with backend engineers
• Test and validate software interfaces in labs and field settings with physical robots and hardware
• Create and maintain reusable frontend component systems with the Design team

• Angular, TypeScript, and Three.js
