About this role

Inworld seeks a Founding AI Solutions Engineer to bridge sales, product, and engineering as the technical lead for enterprise customers adopting their real-time voice AI models. You'll own technical discovery, build production prototypes, and guide customers from evaluation through production deployment while shaping the emerging solutions engineering function.

What you'll do

• Lead technical discovery and proof-of-concept work with enterprise and developer customers
• Build production-quality integration prototypes demonstrating TTS, STT, LLM, and real-time API solutions
• Serve as primary technical advisor during customer onboarding and deployment phases
• Answer complex technical questions on latency, deployment architecture, and model selection independently
• Create and maintain integration examples, demos, and technical resources for the GTM team
• Translate customer requirements into actionable product and engineering feedback

What they're looking for

• Solutions Engineering or Sales Engineering (5+ years)
• Production-level coding in Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript
• AI/ML API integration and LLM/speech model experience
• Technical POC execution and deal closure ability
• Voice AI, TTS, STT, or real-time audio systems knowledge
• On-premise and edge deployment patterns (containerization, model serving)
• WebSocket/WebRTC and real-time streaming infrastructure
• Business and technical communication across audiences
