About this role

IXL Learning, a leading EdTech company, is hiring a Software Engineer to develop and enhance personalized learning products used by millions. You'll work on both new and existing features, spanning backend systems, application logic, and user interfaces while collaborating with talented engineering teams.

What you'll do

• Develop backend infrastructure, application logic, and UI for educational products
• Lead development activities including design, coding, testing, debugging, and performance optimization
• Provide project estimates, assess feasibility, and evaluate new technologies
• Collaborate across development teams to design and release products
• Work on greenfield projects and maintain existing codebases

• 3+ years software engineering experience
• Java or object-oriented programming languages
• Strong problem-solving and analytical reasoning
• Clear communication and collaboration
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Full-stack development capabilities
