About this role

Education.com, part of IXL Learning, seeks a Software Engineer to develop and scale their educational platform serving millions of parents and teachers. You'll build full-stack features in a collaborative environment while optimizing for performance and reliability in a cloud-based system.

What you'll do

• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and designers to build new platform features
• Design and develop robust back-end services and user interfaces
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability
• Participate in design and code reviews
• Evaluate and implement new technologies and best practices
• Contribute across all development phases from concept through deployment

• 3+ years professional software engineering experience
• JavaScript and React
• Object-oriented programming
• Relational databases (MySQL)
