Software Engineer, New Grad

About this role

IXL Learning seeks new graduates to join its engineering teams building personalized educational products used by millions globally. You'll contribute across back-end, front-end, mobile, or full-stack development while working with modern technologies and collaborating across teams in a fast-paced environment.

What you'll do

• Build back-end systems, application logic, and user interfaces for educational products
• Design, code, test, debug, and optimize features throughout the development lifecycle
• Own projects from conception through deployment in a fast-paced development cycle
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, product, and other engineers
• Contribute to multiple products serving students and teachers worldwide
• Select and implement best-fit technologies for project requirements

• Programming fundamentals (Java, Python, or JavaScript)
• Problem-solving and analytical reasoning
• SQL and database knowledge
• Unix/Linux systems familiarity
• React or front-end framework experience
• iOS development (Swift) or mobile development
• Collaborative teamwork and communication
• Full-stack development capabilities
