About this role
Console.com, a Thrive Capital-backed startup, seeks an Applied AI Engineer to build the core reasoning engine powering autonomous agents that resolve enterprise IT, HR, and Ops tasks. You'll design reliable agent architectures for multi-step workflow execution across complex systems, shipping frontier AI to customers like Databricks and Figma.
What you'll do
- Design and optimize the core reasoning engine and evaluation loops for agent reliability
- Build autonomous agents that execute multi-step workflows across enterprise systems and APIs
- Treat agent quality as an ML optimization problem using real usage data
- Own the core agent loop and shape product roadmap decisions
- Develop intelligent systems that self-correct and take action across dozens of integrations
