Forward Deployed Software Engineer at Northslope Technologies

About this role

A Series A AI startup founded by ex-Palantir engineers seeks a Forward Deployed Software Engineer to serve as a technical lead on high-stakes customer engagements. You'll architect and deploy custom AI solutions for Fortune 500 enterprises using Python, TypeScript, and the Palantir stack, moving from concept to production with full ownership and minimal process overhead.

What you'll do

• Design and maintain end-to-end applications that operationalize enterprise data at scale
• Embed with customer teams to translate business objectives into production software
• Rapidly iterate on ML and LLM-based solutions using Palantir Foundry and AIP
• Lead client stakeholders and communicate technical decisions to non-technical audiences
• Own projects from conception through deployment with minimal PM involvement

What they're looking for

• Python or TypeScript proficiency
• Experience with complex structured and unstructured datasets
• Distributed compute systems (Spark)
• React frontend development
• Palantir Foundry platform (highly preferred)
• ML and LLM application development
• Technical leadership and client communication
