About this role

Founding engineer role at a $7M seed-funded startup building browser automation infrastructure to convert websites into programmable APIs. You'll be the second engineer working with experienced founders to solve enterprise data extraction challenges in healthcare and finance.

What you'll do

• Build production backend systems using Python and React for multi-step web automation workflows
• Design secure credential handling and approval gates for enterprise authentication flows including SSO and 2FA
• Collaborate with founders to understand customer integration pain points and translate them into technical solutions
• Maintain and scale production-grade infrastructure for browser automation
• Develop self-healing systems to improve reliability and determinism
• Contribute to customer-facing product development for enterprise users
